Hi everyone! I really am around, I promise! We have been super busy with our life and I have not had a change to blog in a while...or at all this month. I'm so sorry to keep you all waiting! J/K! :)
We went to Disney World: The Magic Kingdom last Sunday thanks to our good friends Becky and Janice (they had free tickets). Which was Kaci's first time and might as well been Kevin's and my first time since we both had not been there in ten years. I was trying to win the award for the "Best" Mom ever because I thought it would be lots of fun to go on the haunted mansion ride (our first ride that day) with our 22 month old daughter...
I have to say Kaci did very well and no one complained about my positive mommy talk throughout the entire ride. I thought I was going to have a heart attack because I didn't want my daughter to be scarred for life because of my stupidity! She only wined twice and did not actually cry. But she had a death grip on me the entire time. Some of my comments were: "See the pretty lady's floating head, she has blue and green hair. So lovely!" And "Let's sing with the ghosts, La, La, La..." When we got outside I asked Kaci, "Was that fun?" in an almost panic like sunshine voice and she clapped her little hands and said "Yea!" What can I say...my kid can handle anything!
The rest of the day was a blast! Wearing Mickey Ears and eating a banana...yummy! :)

I HAVE been waiting :) And going to places like Disney with your child puts it into a whole new light, doesn't it? We took Alana to Universal in September and it was so much fun to see it through her eyes!

I completely understand what you mean! Everything is so much better because of Kaci! How did we ever enjoy life without her!?!
